IFL News

The IFL was founded in January of 2006. It is the first MMA organization to showcase MMA fighters in a league. Each match consisted of at least 3 fighters from different camps fighting individually in a team competition.

The IFL shut down in July of 2008 amidst rumors of a buy-out by the UFC.
